Walnut Place Estate
We designed this stately octagonal-shaped family room with a few things in mind: relaxation, gathering and play. A curved sectional sofa accentuates the unique shape of the room, along with plenty of color. Patterned fabrics and texture in the rug give create a cozy feel.
The design direction from our clients with three young and active girls was a luxurious feel for everyday comfortable living. We used luxe fabrics- velvets, wools, linens and weaves and pops of unexpected colors, such as a brown paint evoking hot cocoa and an inky indigo to create rooms with layers of interest and warmth.

Brookline is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets dotted with old homes that have many architectural details.
